復活の日のフェークニュース
「そこで祭司長たちは長老たちとともに集まって協議し、兵士たちに多額の金を与えて、こう言った。『弟子たちが夜やって来て、われわれが眠っている間にイエスを盗んで行った』と言いなさい。」 （マタイ28:12〜13）
現代の情報社会ではフェークニュース（偽のニュース）が毎日のように発信されていますが、フェークニュースは今に始
まった話ではありません。聖書はイエス様が復活された時にもフェークニュースが流されたことを記録しています。しかも支
配国家を巻き込むフェークニュースとなりました。
祭司長や長老たちは、イエス様を妬み、十字架刑にまで追い込みましたが、マタイ27:63〜66では、イエス様の復活を恐れていたことが記録されています。本当に復活したら今よりもっとややこしいことになると考え、イエス様が葬られた墓に番兵
を置き、24時間の厳戒態勢を取るように総督ピラトに進言しました。
しかし、実際はイエス様は厳戒態勢を突破して復活され、墓石が動いた際には、番兵は恐ろしさのあまりに逃げ出しまし
た。その番兵たちを使って、祭司長たちは、冒頭のみことばにあるフェークニュースを先に流すことを思いついたのです。し
かしこれはローマ帝国の権威を失墜させてでも通したい嘘でした。
聖書はこのような人間の罪深い裏側までも暴き、何が真実であるかを教えています。決して騙されること、惑わされること
がないように、まず真理に堅く立ち続けましょう。
The Fake News of the Resurrection
“When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, telling them, ‘You are to say, “His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.”‘” — Matthew 28:12–13
In today’s information age, fake news is broadcast almost every day, but this is hardly a new phenomenon. The Bible records that fake news was being circulated even at the moment of Jesus’ resurrection. Furthermore, it was a disinformation campaign that involved the very authorities of the state.
The chief priests and elders envied Jesus and drove Him to His crucifixion. However, Matthew 27:63–66 records that they were actually terrified of His resurrection. Fearing that a resurrection would make matters even more complicated than before, they advised Governor Pilate to place guards at the tomb and maintain a 24-hour state of high alert.
Despite these measures, Jesus broke through that high-security watch and rose again. When the stone was moved, the guards fled in sheer terror. It was then that the chief priests used those very guards to spread the “fake news” mentioned in the opening scripture. This was a lie they were willing to push even at the cost of undermining the authority of the Roman Empire.
The Bible exposes even these deep, sinful ulterior motives of humanity and teaches us what is truly real. Let us stand firm in the Truth first and foremost, so that we may never be deceived or led astray.
