神の視点で生きる
「神のなさることは、すべて時にかなって美しい。」 （伝道者の書3:11）
先日、久々にラジオを聴いていました。リスナーが「離乳食を始めた子供が食べ物を落とし、イライラする」と言った内容でした。それに対してゲストが「子供の離乳食の始まりは食との出会いであり、食べ物を粗末にしてはいけないというのは後から教えたら良い」という答えを聞きました。
苛立ちの原因というのは、実は私たちのうちに原因があります。自分の思い通りにいかない、自分の想定外のことが起こった、そういった時に苛立ちというものが湧き起こってくるものです。また皆さんも経験されたことがあると思いますが、受け止め方を変えることによって、苛立ちも少なくなるのです。
冒頭のみことばは、私たちに神さまのなさることを見ていくという視点を教えています。私たちの視点で物事を決めていくのがすべてではありません。私たちの視点でアンラッキーと思えることでも、神さまの視点ではそれが最善であったりするのです。私たちはこの固定概念から脱出する必要があります。
私たちの人生は神さまの御手の中で生かされています。この神さまは、マイナスをプラスにし、無から有を生み出し、最悪を最前に変えることができるお方です。そして神さまは、あなたの人生の最善をご存知で、あなたを喜ばせ、あなたを祝福で満たしたいと思っておられます。
そのような神さまの視点に生きる時に、あなたの人生に喜びと平安がもたらされるのです。
Living from God’s Perspective
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
The other day, I happened to listen to the radio for the first time in a while. A listener shared how they felt frustrated because their child, who had just started eating solid foods, kept dropping food on the floor. In response, the guest said, “The start of weaning is a child’s first encounter with food. You can teach them not to waste it later.”
In reality, the root of our frustration often lies within ourselves. Feelings of irritation well up when things don’t go according to our plans or when the unexpected occurs. As you may have experienced, simply changing how we perceive a situation can greatly reduce that irritation.
The scripture at the beginning of this message teaches us to look at things through the lens of what God is doing. Our own perspective isn’t the final authority on how things should be. What may seem like “bad luck” from our point of view can be the very best thing from God’s perspective. We need to break free from our fixed preconceptions.
Our lives are held within God’s hands. He is the one who can turn a minus into a plus, bring something out of nothing, and transform the worst situations into the best outcomes. God knows what is best for your life; He desires to bring you joy and fill you with His blessings.
When you live with this “divine perspective,” true joy and peace will be brought into your life.
