福音の理解における霊的成長
「私がどのようなことばで福音を伝えたか、あなたがたがしっかり覚えているなら、この福音によって救われます。そうでなければ、あなたがたが信じたことは無駄になってしまいます。」 （Ⅰコリント15:2）
いつの時代にあっても間違った教えは、キリスト教会の中に入ってきますし、最初に聞いた福音から離れてしまう人がいることも事実です。私たちのキリスト教会の中では、このようなことが繰り返し起こり、痛みと悲しみを覚えるものです。なぜこのようなことが起こってしまうのでしょうか。
その大きな原因の一つは、福音に対する理解、とりわけ福音に対して確信が持てていないからです。福音とは、イエス・キリストが私たちの身代わりとなって、私たちの罪のために十字架で死んでくださり、復活され、罪の赦しを完全なものとしてくださり、復活によって、私たちにしに対する勝利を示してくださいました。
キリスト教会は間違った教えや異端によって分裂したり離れたりするわけではありません。教派や主張の違いで分裂してしまうこともあります。これは福音以上に教派の教えや主張を大切にしているからです。福音以上に大切にしているものがあれば、サタンはそれを利用して、私たちの交わりを壊し、主から引き離そうとします。
あなたは、福音に対する確信を持っていますか。あなたは福音を信じたことによって、主の恵みによって救われました。罪からの救いに福音以外は必要ないことを忘れないでください。
Spiritual Growth through Understanding the Gospel
“By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:2)
In every era, false teachings find their way into the Christian church, and it is a painful reality that some people drift away from the gospel they first heard. When this happens repeatedly within our churches, it brings deep sorrow and pain. Why does this happen?
One major reason is a lack of understanding—and specifically, a lack of deep conviction—regarding the gospel. The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died on the cross as our substitute for our sins and rose again, making the forgiveness of sins complete and demonstrating His victory over death through His resurrection.
The Christian church does not only experience division or departure because of false teachings or heresy. Division also occurs over differences in denominations or personal opinions. This happens when people value denominational doctrines or opinions more than the gospel itself. Whenever we treasure something above the gospel, Satan uses it to destroy our fellowship and pull us away from the Lord.
Do you have conviction in the gospel? Through your faith in the gospel, you were saved by the Lord’s grace. Remember that nothing other than the gospel is needed for salvation from sin.
