“私は、自分の物見のやぐらに立ち、砦にしかと立って見張り、私の訴えについて、主が私に何を語られるか、私がそれにどう応じるべきかを見よう。
主は私に答えられた。「幻を板の上に書き記して、確認せよ。これを読む者が急使として走るために。
この幻は、定めの時について証言し、終わりについて告げ、偽ってはいない。もし遅くなっても、それを待て。必ず来る。遅れることはない。
見よ。彼の心はうぬぼれていて直ぐでない。しかし、正しい人はその信仰によって生きる。」”

Habakkuk 2 １：４
1I will take my stand at my watchpost
and station myself on the tower,
and look out to see what he will say to me,
and what I will answer concerning my complaint.
The Righteous Shall Live by His Faith
2And the Lord answered me:
“Write the vision;
make it plain on tablets,
so he may run who reads it.
3For still the vision awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it;
it will surely come; it will not delay.
4“Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him,
but the righteous shall live by his faith.
